Community of Communities is a program that classical music stations can institute to forge partnerships with arts organizations, increase the capacity of the station and the arts organizations simultaneously, create long-term value donors, and provide significant public service centered on the arts.
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Community of Communities brings together station donors, community arts organizations, membership programs, and underwriting efforts to build the capacity of station to serve the community, while helping arts groups and artists build audience. Audience and member engagement is combined with community partnerships to solidify support for the arts in general. We will engage existing donors to be ambassadors within their ‘tribes’ to help pool resources that will be invested in the station. In return, the arts groups will receive enhanced exposure that will help them build capacity. One goal is to help small groups grow to the degree where they turn into underwriters.
